Divination Blocks (Bwa Bwei)

To use divination blocks, first report your name, address, and question to the deity. Hold the blocks in both hands and toss them sincerely. The way the blocks land—one up, one down (Sheng Jiao), both up (Xiao Jiao), or both down (Yin Jiao)—represents different answers: approval, amusement, or denial from the deity.
