About

Jiaoxi Sietian Temple is the largest and most popular Guan Di temple in Northern Taiwan and a spiritual center in Yilan. It boasts majestic architecture and houses a unique 'Silk Guan Gong' statue. The 'Turtle King' offering ritual on the 13th of the 1st lunar month and the Spring/Autumn ceremonies attract countless worshippers. It stands as a witness to the development of the Lanyang Plain.

History

Built in 1804 by Monk Tingshuo. Expanded multiple times to its current grandeur. With numerous branch temples, it is an influential historic temple in the Yilan region.
